USS BENNINGTON EXPLOSION OF 21 JULY 1905

LIST OF THOSE KILLED


At 10:38 AM on the morning of 21 July 1905, an explosion occurred in the port fire-room compartment of the ship, listing the ship to the starboard.
The ship shook violently for several seconds, and then large volumes of steam and ashes filled most of the living compartments and deck space.
Below are the names of those individuals killed.
